0:00A new feature in 2019.2 is the ability to
0:06show and hide sort controls.
0:07Now this is super easy to get to.
0:10You'll see here that I've got a view which
0:12shows my subcategories sorted in alphabet
0:14ical
0:15order and I have the sum of profit on
0:18columns.
0:19Now if I hover just above the bars you'll
0:21see that I get the sort controls and in
0:23this
0:24particular icon you'll see if I click on
0:26this it sorts it in descending order and if
0:29I click
0:29on that again it sorts it in descending
0:32order and if I click on it one more time it
0:34clears
0:35the sort and goes back to the data source
0:37order in which in this case it's alphabet
0:40ical
0:40order.
0:41Now if I want to show and hide this control
0:43so it's not available to the user I simply
0:46go to the worksheet and there's this option
0:48right here to show the sort controls and if
0:51I untick that zoom back out you'll see that
0:54I now can't change that.
0:57Now you still can change the way this is
0:59sorted.
1:00If you click on this caret and then you go
1:02to sort then you get the options that you
1:04had before and you can see that it's in
1:07data source order in ascending order so
1:09this becomes
1:10alphabetic but if I was to say choose a
1:12field and I was to sort by profit you can
1:15see that
1:16now it's working as it was before but to
1:18get it back to how it was before I just
1:21need to
1:21select the data source order in ascending
1:24and it just comes in as it was exported.
