> This is content from just-tim, the data-and-analytics channel by Tim Ngwena (formerly 'Tableau Tim'). Tim has 12+ years of hands-on BI experience and covers Tableau most of all, plus Power BI, Looker, Hex, SQL and data modelling, the analytics industry, and the craft of doing the job — always tool-agnostic and honest about the trade-offs.

This week I had a go at the weekly challenge set as part of the makeover Monday community. Had lots of fun doing this, it started as a line chart then ended up as total overuse of reference lines. That said it sort of works. The data came from [Daily Kos](http://elections.dailykos.com/app/elections/2016) and thanks to the [Makeover Monday community](http://www.makeovermonday.co.uk/)for continuously being inspiring.
